500 creep when cold

Default 500 creep when cold

Hello i have a 2003 sportsman 500 it started creeping only when it is cold works good when it worms up i would like to know what i should do to fix it

haha lol well to start with go through all the grease fitting on the drive shaft and all around the bike my 2003 400 outlander is getting the same way but its really nothing but stuff not oiled up as well any more i greesed every thing up and mine quit creeping

sorry when i said creeping i meant moving own its own with no throttle

aw sorry was a little confused ther try turning your iddle down a little sound a bit to high if its idling to high it can cause it to move when its iddling due to the motor if running a little faster

i adjusted the idle down until it almost stalls out and it still dose not seem to help

is it an atomatic or manual if its a automatic your clutch is sticking it sounds like so its grabbing the belt all the time might just have to clean the clutch up

thanx i will give it a better cleaning and see if that fixes it it is a auto

ya thats what it sounds like its sticking check on line to see what you can use to clean it out good i forgot what you would use to clean it
