I am looking at buying a new sports quad soon and was curious if any of you know, or have heard, if Yamaha was planning on re-designing the popular Banshee? (or at least popping that motor in another chassis?) The power can not be beat but that out-dated design is whats keeping me from getting one. Having to buy all new suspension and much more isn't very appealing...

Any chance of this happening?

I would highly doubt it.. 2-strokes seem to be on their way out, if anything they would make a similar 4-stroke, but with the old design of the shee they'd probally just make an entire new machine?

What are you going to be using the 'shee for? I dont see why you think you woyuld HAVE to replace all the suspension and stuff. Dont listen to all the propaganda, the banshee is very durable and can be riddin very hard.

Hey check out https://atvconnection.com/ the best site on the net for ATV information.

What is so outdated on the shee. The stock suspension isnt bad for stock, unless your racing you wont need to change it. I think theres a reason they only made one change since 87, dont you think.....

Get a Laeger frame!! ahahah.
You'll test ride the shee for a full day. You'll quickly understand that it's not that bad at all (I have also heard people complaining that the Raptor saddle isn't as comfortable as the shee's or ds, but I've never tested this myself).
wait MAYBE for a new bomb 380 2 stroke. You can dream.
