Default Trail Boss 250r/es Crank Case Bearings

Hello everyone this is my first time using a forum, but i recently acquired a 1986 trail boss 250r/es 2x4 quad and i need to replace the crank case bearings, i was wondering what specialty tools and the procedure to do the job requires. also help would be greatly appreciated in locating the bearings online, I have searched for over a week trying to find then and every search ends unsuccessful.

Thanks All

If you have access to a bearing separator will help to remove bearings from crankshaft. PLUS separator and HEAT (propane torch) is necessary to remove the oil pump drive gear from the crank. As far as bearings you can get em cheaper at Napa,Auto zone, etc. Bearings have a"universal" number on them such as 3605,etc that most auto parts will carry.Complete gasket kits are available along with seals online.Cheap Cycle Parts are cheaper than dealers and are OEM parts. Tucker Rocky,Parts Unlimited, etc are a source for after market Pistons, gasket sets such as (COMETIC,VESRAH). Welcome to the forum! Hope this gets you started. OPT
