Default ebs

i've noticed every now and again my ebs stops working, just started this since i have been hearing a noise in my cvt cover over the winter, sounded like something was smacking around in there, sounded like bb's,then it quit, would a bad belt do this, could the belt be tearing apart or something, explaining the noise and my ebs problem,i put the belt through hell this winter, trying to get through the snow, plus i don't ride over 10 mph most of the time...........

It takes about ten minutes to pull the belt cover off and look. Check it out.

Belt separating would make a slapping noise on the cover,BUT wouldn't sound like bb's running around!! possible front clutch bearing's worn and needs replacement, but just tear into it as suggested and check it out. Good luck OPT
