Default Bearing-Hubs

Just wondering if it's just bad luck or do you think my front hub's are worn thus need replaced . I'm in the process of removing my front axles and when I removed my front hubs the new bearing that I just installed like 1500 miles ago came apart in two pieces . One section of the bearing was still attached to the hub while the other section with the ***** remain in the strut . Should I install new hub's and new bearing again ? thanks

Had em do this before. If bearings aren't worn or dry just add a little grease and stick it back together! Since its basically a two piece bearing it will sometimes do this! OPT

Thank's that's what I'm going to do as the bearing are like new and still full of grease . What about adding grease as I read once that mixing two different greases can make things turn to slush . I have Amsoil wheel bearing grease I figure that should be fine . Are my hubs worn and that's why it came apart in two pieces ?

I'm changing the back axles also what a pain been at it all day still can't get either side to release . One side pulled apart all I got left is the inner steel part of the cv joint what a pain in the butt , I gave up for the night .

Hub bearings can get stuck on the drive shaft and separate leaving half in the hub, this is a common thing. Just any good grade of wheel bearing grease will do. OPT
