what was/is the biggest air and gap you've ever covered? what were you riding?

 

Do you mean height or distance? Not sure of height, but I found a nice jump at my house where I got about 20-25 feet on distance.

As far as motorcross there is a track called morland motocross and there is a 50foot triple i jumped on ...belive this on my 88 kawaski tecate!!
Then as far as air time at the US OFFROAD NATIONALS in detroit there was a 40 double that shot you just about straight up and again it was on the tecate.....but just this year the wife bought me a ROOL DESIGN \CURTIS SPARKS \AXIS SHOCK 250R

 

The furthest I have ever jumped is 40 feet. Click on the link below for a picture of a 30 foot jump. The highest would be 4-5 feet. Quad used was a 2000 Kodiak.

 

Scott I believe you, the Tecates is a bad machine! The biggest gap I hit was on a sled, but it was the height that was more impressive, I was 10-12 feet in the air, it was one of the greatest days in my life......

 

My biggest jumps have been on my 400EX...

The biggest one I have a pic of is in the realm of 95 feet distance and probably 20 feet height - this can be seen on my website in my sig. This was over an 82 foot peak to peak double.

My biggest jumps ever have been at the sand dunes, well over 100 feet in distance and I'm scared to guess at the height... I also have some pics of my first trip to the dunes on the web & a short video (I've improved the bike a bunch since then). One jump I don't have a picture of was a top of 5th, pinned launch with approx a 1/4 mile run --- WILD! My biggest dune jumps though, are over a 4th gear pinned dune....

The 82' big air double was at Radical Rob's track in Halfway Missouri. The rest were at a couple of local tracks....

 

Nothing to big from me, Farthest would be about 35-40ft double. Riding my '99 banshee...
