ticking on a 2003 660 raptor

Default ticking on a 2003 660 raptor

i have a raptor bought it a couple months back and when i start it up its gotta ticking noise even when u drive the ticking gets faster when u rev it could it be the timeing chain what it does all the time in netrual or driveing

i like to use a wooden down or handle on the side of motor next to the cylinder and listen for chain slapping while the engine is running.a sloppy chain will make a distinct sound and you'll know it when you hear it.put your ear on the wooden dowel and hold other end against the cylinder or cam tensioner area.
