just got my rancher out of the shop. had the top and bottom rebuilt. ive put let then 20 hours after thr rebuild and it started smoking again had the jug rebored and over sized piston n new rings. i took it eazy for the frist tank of gas , can sum1 tell me what my have went wrong? did i burn the rings???

 

Take it back. Could be rings, could be a valve seal, could be a lot of different things. What color is the smoke? Blue or white?

 

its white smoke and u can hear a noisy tick also can smell that burnt oil smell
