Default 03' trx250ex clutch retrofit

I've been street driving my 2003 TRX250ex Sportrax for a little more than a year now(about 5500 miles). The only weak points seem to be the motor mounts and the centrifugal clutch. Has anyone retrofitted a standard clutch onto one of these? It seems like that wouldn't be too hard, maybe a clutch from a 250r?

Man that would be a lot of work. Just get a 400ex.

I really like this bike, and I'm willing to do the work and spend the money. This bike is a tank, I've been everywhere on this thing, I once rode it for 2 hrs with the throttle pinned the whole time, and then 2 hrs back. This is all in the 110 degree Arizona heat on an air-cooled bike. I just have to change the oil every week or two. It seems you could put a clutch in place of the centrifugal clutch.

Well, I'm not sure it can be done. Maybe someone else here knows?
