I have a 1987 Big Bear with a "see through sick muffler". I changed it once with an aftermarket pipe about 12 or so years ago. Looking at my options, I see the gasket and spark arrester are sold separately most of the time. Since it's been so long, I remember the gasket fits betweent the muffler and exhaus pipe, at the joint.
What about the spark arrester, my memory fails me if it was included in the aftermarket muffler I bought. Can someone explain to me where exactly does this beast go? Does it fit inside the muffler, at the end, etc.

After more searching, ordered a K********x universal (036451) that should fit. Looks like the one I presently have on now. Thanks to all for viewing.
