I'll get right to the point... I have no fuel past the fuel injectors, I have changed the fuel pump, that gave me more fuel pressure but still no fuel to the combustion chamber.

I'm thinking this might be electrical, and if so what controls the injectors to have them pulse open?
Is there a fuse I'm missing that might be shot?

History: it has around 40 hrs and 300 miles, I went to windrock and I had it stuck in the water, It sure it had water, splashing around the fuses but not submerged. it ran fine for a month afterwards but after sitting for 3 weeks it would not start.

Any help will be greatly appriciated!

thank you for all the help so far in the forum, I have read some interesting things that have helped me.

 

Check the fuse holder block for any disconnected wires,dirt or grit,plus check the fuses and blades,also pull the two relays behind the fuse block,clean the connections,niogel all connectors,plus niogel the main connector to the ecu. Ecu controls most of the functions. Plus sitting for three weeks with any trapped moisture could allow corrosion any where in the electrical system OPT

Well, no loose wires, I cleaned and lubricated all connections, the fuse block had some dirt, the connector to the ECU looked perfect as well did all connections with the weather-type connectors. I hooked it all back up and still no fire and no fuel past the fuel injectors, plenty of pressure from the fuel pump.

Question: is the spark and the injectors controlled by the same thing, whether that being the ECU, the fuse, the ... ect... ?

 

Sounds like the ecu is the problem if everthing else checks out as it does control most of the functions of the ignition system,etc. May have to have it reflashed and checked out? OPT

 

I replaced my ECU and it still would not fire, being at my wit's end I took it to the dealer... needless to say they could'nt firgure it out either, They suggested I chang the voltage regulator and the stator... well all new stator and voltage regulator and still will not fire?

Thing that are new:

-Fuel pump
-ECU
-Voltage regulator
-Stator

What else could it be?

 

Did you check the fuel lines going to the fuel filter and out to the the fuel rail to make sure they were open,plus did you replace the fuel filter? You can unscrew the the cap on the fuel rail and push in the shrader valve to see if any fuel comes out?? Plus you say you replaced the ECU? Did the dealer program it! Plus were the two plug in relays by the fuse panel ever checked out OPT

 

i'm suprised the dealer didnt check what "opt" mentioned before putting new stator and what not throwing parts at it is expensive for sure. good luck with it and let us know. can you here the fuel pump prime it self when you first turn the key on? i know you said you replaced it.

 

luckily I have a good dealer here in Ooltewah, Tn. They had the ATV for 3 weeks but over time were able to diagnose the problem.... a crank sensor, the one located right at the stator. Praise the Lord
