Questions about the Mojave
#1
I'm currently in the process of purchasing my first quad, i don't have that large of a budget and it seems that Mojave's are good, lower priced quads. Now what I've been trying to figure out with no avail, is are there any difference between the model years? from 87-03? I know that they used the same 250 engine, is there any difference in the frame or is it just the plastics? And also last question, what are everyone's general opinions about Mojave's?

Hello. From research and experiance they have changed nothing on the kawasaki mojave and all parts are interchangeable. I have ridded, worked on and in process of restoring 2 right now. If you would like tips just let me know or have any questions, i can send you my regular email so we can be better in touch.
Thanks

Hello, I have an 87 and a 91 mojave, there are a few slight differences between the two but nothing that you would notice right away. I bought both for 600$ and neither had Run in 10 to 15 years, I spent a few hours cleaning carve, changing fluids and lubing, both r great runners and r very dependable. The newer mojaves have different plastic and a few differences to the basic mechanics of the bike, but again nothing u would notice right away. I have put alot of time and elbow grease into my 91 as well as a few parts( nothing big) and it is a blast to ride. All in all, great quad for the money, u will enjoy, I promise.
