Default brake drum/axle problems

I'm wanting to put new axle bearings in a 2002 Honda 250ex but I can't seem to get the brake drum assembly apart. What am I missing?

Your drum prolly is worn down enough that the old shoes are recessed below the ring on drum an got drum locked down because of the ring! or drum is rusted on axle!

So there's no hidden snap ring or anything that I have missed? Before I use the fire wrench or a hammer I wanna make sure I haven't overlooked anything.

I bought it used for my girlfriend and have no idea when the shoes were changed last, if they ever were.

No fire wrench could warp drum, liquid wrench or other penetrating oil let it soak then 2X4 or rubber mallet to vibrate it loose.
