Welcome to the forum DIXTER1 .

It's possible i'm no pro when it comes electrical issues , however i would check the battery voltage after you've charged it with a float charger 1 to 2amp trickle charge over night ( remove the battery cable's while the battery is charging ) , then using a digital multimeter on the 20 watt setting check the battery voltage , battery should be almost 13 volt's with a full charge ; then reconnect the cables and start engine .

With the engine running the battery voltage should read about 14.6 volt's , you should also check to see if you have short in the wiring by removing the positive cable and touch the cable to positive battery terminal , if there is a short you should see or hear a lite spark when you touch the cable to battery terminal , unless your 250 doesn't have a built in clock like the AC 400's and up there shouldn't have a power drain when youi do this test , the 400's and up have a built in clock that draw's current from the battery even when your ignition switch is in the off position .

If you get a spark you'll need to start removing the plastic's and check for any pinched wire in the wiring harness , Hope this help's !
