Black Diamond XTR 1 - YouTube

Its the squeeking noise when I start out and come to a stop.

It's in low range 4-wd and the ADC is on.

My old ears ain't what they used to be but could be just spring squeek as suspension compresses and extends when stopping or first taking off,or even could be a little pad and rotor noise from the water and dirt from the snow? My wife's old Saturn makes the same kinda squeek from the rotor area when it rains, clears up when it dries out. OPT

thanks OPT.

Sounds like possibly the clutch but not sure because it sounds like it comes from the front area instead of towards the rear.

Actually might even be normal.

Think I've seen a video similar to yours when tracks were used and had a similar "squeek" when stopping and taking off! It's been a couple years or so ago I think? OPT

just make shear you keep the suspension well greased and no heavy loads on the drive belt for 200 miles or so. sounds normal for break in.

thank you

I use low range alot and hope to avoid ever having any belt issues. I'm sure I could use high more but why take a chance?

I'm sitting at about 250 miles.

heavy loads between 7-10 MPH is when i use low gear or plowing snow and mud bogs, other wise I'm in High gear all the time. the XP clutching is way better then the old sportsman.
