I sold my 2003 Sportsman 500HO awhile ago. Great quad just felt I wasn't using it enough. Well after selling I start missing having a quad eventhough our riding here in CT is very limited. So to ease my pain I picked up a LT250 (Ozark) for $800. I fixed it up a bit and its been a fun little quad but does not match up to a real 4x4. Now I am thinking of getting something a bit bigger but I want to stay in the 2-3k. Preferably closer to 2K. I was really close to buying a 2002 Rubicon for 2K until the guy sold it on me.

Anyway enough with the rambling. I am looking for something in the 2-3K range (used ofcourse) that I can take ice fishing and putz around the yard and the few trails I have around my house. I am not looking for tons of power, my polaris was more than enough for me when i had it. So I was thinking of getting something like a Rancher 350 or Grizzly 400.

I just want to get your opinion on anything in that price range. I dont like low powered quads. I don't need to go 70 but I would like to be able to hit 45-50. I may be asking for a lot but in this economy I would think I would be able to find a good deal somewhere.
