i have a 1984 honda 200x i put new rings and a new top end gasket kit and a new camshaft and tensinors. but it is still smokeing i think maybe i have the rings back words. can any body tell me the correct order the rings need to be installed? thanks and it also leaks alot of oil out the exaust

 

Did the cylinder measure in spec's? May need to bore and install an new piston!!! Very seldon an cylinder will wear an perfect round bore!!! And also being an 1984!!!!! IMO I would re measure bore and see...

 

well it turns out my cylinder is not in the greatest shape its got a very small crack in it but it dont go all the way threw and its a lil worn in some places. which seems odd i think but it needs a new one thanks.
