Default What atv to buy?

hey everyone,i am looking at buying a new atv...i currently have an 04 yamaha kodiak 400 and a 05 honda foreman...the yamaha kodiak has been through(pardon my language)hell and back..ive literaly rolled, sunk and beat the crap out of it after buying it wrecked on the auction and the only thing i replaced was the plastics...I am looking to buy a new four wheeler that is as reliable....but a lot bigger....anybody have any ideas on a four wheeler that would be good for mudding, hunting, and farm work without having any problems or at least big ones? i need a big reliable machine

Personally dont see any reason to stay away from yamaha. The grizzly 700 is a proven atv. Very durable transmission, strong engine, has 4wd with diff lock and is a perfect bike for all applications. Suzuki makes a really nice king quad 750 and is going to be the cheapest of any kind in its class most likely. good transmission and smooth single cylinder(biggest single cylinder on the market). Also has 4wd with diff lock.
polaris has plastic racks...enough said. seriously though, they are better than they were 10 years ago. i wouldnt rule it out,but i cant give any info on the atvs b/c i dont know much about them personally( i have a rzr and its been good so far with 300 miles on it) honda is out if you want a mudder. no ground clearance and no diff lock. Good for the farm work though.
arctic cat has always been good to me had 3 of them, some love them, some hate them, they are more work oriented but still a good trail ride. good power and transmission,
kawasaki...good power,thats all i know.
can am is powerful by far,but not really work oriented. it will do the job but not a choice for me. I had an outlander 500 and it was a good bike but just didnt fit my needs.
all of these makes offer different options like EFI,EPS,IRS,diff lock, which may or may not matter to you but then there are other things like fuel capacity, ground clearance rack space,ect...Dont pay attention to what can haul what either. they can all pull and haul more than they say,by ALOT,its just a manufactures suggestion so they cover their butts. A few test drives on some models will help YOU narrow the choices. Thats my recommendation. then let us know what models you like the best and we all could help you more from there. after all youll be the one riding it. good luck!
If you want just recommendation from 1st choice to last for the things you want to do with it,then this is my list: yamaha, arctic cat, suzuki, polaris, kawasaki, can am,honda. From what ive seen cat, suzuki, and polaris would hold a close 2nd place in decisions. Polaris is just so smooth to ride, cat has all the options I want in an atv and suzuki is a nice ride for the money. Them are the only reasons to me.
