Slime in Yamaha Kodiak

I hear you can put this stuff in at any time...in case you have a small puncture. Is this true? How much do you put in a tire? I ask because I think I can get another season or 2 out of my current tires, but wanted a little protection. Any thoughts?
I figure this with a plug kit and a mini compressor should hopefully get me home if needed?

I Have it also, the instructions are on the can. I seen it work ,a guy I was riding with notice rubber like green coming out of his rear tire, turned out he ran over something during the day and the stuff plugged it right up without him even knowing it.
Saved our day ride for sure.

At any time? Yes you can. But you do have to let the air out of the tire first. So if you're out on the trail and get a small thorn or something similar, just know you can add it and you'll need a way to air the tire back up. But it will work just fine.
