I've got a glacier II plow and dispise the way the winch hook connects to the plow. simply b/c my amsteel rope rubs on my brushguard and wears the rock sleeve. Anyone make connection higher say where the springs on top of the blade connect? Any and all ideas welcome, thanx in advance.

 

Take a piece of pvc pipe and slice it lengthwise then attach it with clamps to your brushguard where the rope rubs. Cheap, easy fix!

 

I've read before that the cable interferes with the brush guards and bumpers. Not quite sure what to do about it though.
I was wondering if you have the ability to drill and hook the cable any further foward?

 

I don't have the G2 but my line also would make contact with the bumper...I just take the bumper off for plow season...Not a big deal...4 bolts done..
