Default Am I over paying for a left over model??

I am looking at a left over blue 2011 grizzly 550 (with out EPS). This is my first ATV so I really dont want to get ripped off. The dealer is quoting me at $6,749 for the machine ( saying hes already knocking off $1,500) and $7,246.43 after tax and reg. Then he is also quoting me $450.00 for a warn winch. Would this be over paying for a left over model??Thanks for any help -Shawn D.

Looks like a very fair price to me. If you are mechanically inclined, you can find a warn winch for cheaper and install it yourself. I believe they also have mail in rebates for the winches right now so you might want to check out their website.

Congrats on the purchase! I just checked warns website and there is a $50 mail in rebate on most warn winches. You do need the UPC off the box so if you have the dealer do the winch make sure you get the box so you can get the rebate. Amazon has the rt25 for $264 right now so with the rebate you could do the winch as low as $214...good deal for warn.

Talk about gouging .. We are looking into a second ATV ourselves right now so I checked a local dealer's stock and prices to see if there were any deals to be had. They were asking 1500-2000 ABOVE 2012 MSRP for 2011 models!!! I could have gotten a 2012 700 Grizz for less than a 2011 550. And just in case you're wondering .. they were still carrying the notation "Plus freight and PDI" on their pricing.

In Canada that ATV would cost $8000 before our 15% taxes are added on and the sad part is the America and Canadian dollar are at par at the currency exchange right now.

Never have paid MSRP. Always give them an OTD price I'm willing to pay. Left many dealerships with no atv. But I've left a few with what I was willing to pay.
