I have a 05 raptor 350 I just bought. I have an aftermarket slipon exhaust and its jetted properly for it. Fresh oil. The problem im having is its just a very niosy engine. Im wondering if anyone else has a similar problem or are they all just like that.

-The noises coming fromt he engine are a slight ticking and just in general its noisy.

That engine is generally noisy. The ticking usally comes from the valves, about the only thing you can do is make sure the valves are adjusted properly, but all the ones that I had, the valves were noisy regardless of being adjusted properly or not.

 

Yep check the valves and check the timing chain for wear
