Default 2000 prairie 300 4x4 is easy to steer?

Some of you may have followed my threads as I picked on up recently. I will post the full fix up story sometime this weekend, but in a nutshell I have it running now. I went for a trail ride last Sunday afternoon and another this evening. As you can tell by my user name, i have owned my fair share of Honda 300 4x4's over the years. The steering on this prairie has me shocked to say the least. every honda 300 4x4 i ever drove gave your upper body quite a workout steering through the trails. My prairie 300 4x4 feels like it has power steering compared to my hondas of the past. I was riding and turning down tight technical trails tonight with only my right hand! I was thinking to myself, "crap is the 4 wheel drive even working?" I put it in the garage and jacked it off the ground, started it and put it in gear, and all 4 wheels were turning. I am at a loss as to why it is litteraly a hundred times easier to steer than and full time 4x4 honda I ever owned. Is this normal? It also seems to like to bump steer awful easy. The handle bars tend to want to wander left right left driving down the road on pavement. What about the knuckle recall I have heard about? the previous owners were so rough on it i pretty much guarantee that they never fixed any recalled parts if they owned it during that time. its a miracle it runs at all.
