Was just curious to know if an 800 mill would fit/ bolt right into a 500 frame? Sportsman is the model I'm questioning. Ever since I bought my 07 500 I've regretted not buying the 800, and you find wrecked 800's for pretty cheap.

 

if i had to guess, i would say it's a direct bolt on the frame but maybe a little differnt as there is 2#"s differnce in the part no#'s. 07' 800 is 1015740-067, where as the 07' 500 is 1015738-067. the electronics would be differnt for sure. just a guess.

 

I think you would have to make new motor mounts and replace the wiring harness.
