hello everyone im new here, im hearing alot about the fuel on the big bear 400 and the lack of a fuel filter and im starting to have fuel problems can anyone tell me what size in line fuel filter they are using? and hose size will it fit the factory hose thats already there? and what specific area are they installing the filter.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2004 bone stock Big Bear 400 4WD with manual trans, have 3900 miles, and have had no fuel problems. A filter would be good insurance though.

The cold start/choke cable plastic fitting in the carb did fail 2 or 3 years ago. I taped it up and am still using it that way. Starts everytime. I have the repair kit but haven't taken the time to make the repair.
