2010 X2 starting issue
#1
Hopefully how I explain the issue makes sense and I can paint a clear enough picture.
When I turn the key the starter cranks but just dies right off to where there is silence and then after about a full second it cranks back up and starts. I was thinking maybe the starter or the battery but there are times when I turn the key and without hesitation it starts right up. I will say that 8 out 10 times the issue I described is what happens. Because at times it starts right up I'm not sure anymore what could be causing the issue.
Any suggestions or advise would be greatly appreciated.

First thing I can think of is to check the battery, solenoid and starter wires to make sure they are tight and no corrosion causing intermittent operation. Not the best location for a battery and solenoid. OPT
