I just bought a 2002 Polaris Sportsman 700 "Twin". That's what is says on the side panels- "700 Twin". I am looking at adding a winch, winch mount and a plow mount(under carriage).

In looking at Bell Industries, where I can get a deal, they list either:
Sportsman 700 X2
Sportsman Twin
Sportsman X2 4X4
Sportsman Twin 4X4

Which one could it be and where does the winch mount go or do I need one?

700X2 came out in 2008 for one year only and was an efi not a carb model like yours. Don't know why they list "Sportsman Twin" and "Sportsman Twin 4x4" as the 700 has always had 4 wheel drive.
Hopefully this will help you narrow it down.. As far as plow mounts,etc others that use em will give you their recommendations. Not much use for em down here in Texas. OPT
