just got this thing a couple of weeks ago. the ole guy i got it from had a lawnmower battery in it he said that was the reason that it would click sometimes when you turned the key, well i got a new battery 650cca,installed it started right up,turned the key off and went back to the clicking,sometimes start,sometimes not. any help would be appreciated,thanks

 

take an ohm meter/voltmeter and check the battery's voltage before starting, during starting and after starting. let's see if there is a drag or if the solenoid is failing.
