I am currently considering buying a new 400EX. I have been a Honda reliability and attention to detail fan for many years. I am still very much into MX Racing my CR250/125 and will keep one of those bikes. I do not know if I will ever grow to full enjoy a quad as much as my passion for dirtbikes.

However, I have gone quad riding with friends and enjoy it very much. My wife has a 250EX which is a blast.

I think the 400EX is the right quad for me. I just want to be aware of my timing. I know there is talk of a 650EX, but that will be unproven for a year or two to get the kinks out of a new bike.

The 400EX appears to be well received by the number of sales and positive discussion on this board.

When will the 2002 come out, and is there any talk of enahancements to a new model? I know nothing about the release cycle of quads, so forgive me.

If I were to wait, what might be the things that you folks are looking for?

Any of you cross-over from MX Racing? Are you satisfied?
