Anyone heard of a honda trx250x fourstroke before? How do they perform. I found one for sell in my neighberhood real cheap and I,v never heard of one before.Its a older model not like the 250ex and it not a 250r twostroke. I haven't gotten to ride it yet and i want to know what to expect. any info will be very helpfull.

 

yeh its the bike that the 300ex was based on...alittle smaller cc's and a kick starter are the differences. Same plastic,frame,suspension everything. Just about any part you can buy for a 300ex will fit the 250x. In my experience 250x have alittle more top end performance than the 300ex. Its an overall good performer and you can't go wrong with this quad.

 

The 250x is about the same as the 300ex accept it has a kickstarter. they are very rebiable.

 

it's a great bike, i own one and am very please with it, it is what the 300ex is based on, honda had the 250X up to 1991, and 1992 it was replaced by the 300ex, most all parts are interchangable, the olny difference is the plastic, and a kick start, but if you get the valves adjusted, it will fire on the first kick every time

 

Own 2 TRX250x's great quads rock solid most all parts are interchangeable with the 300ex even plastics.The 250x is a little lighter and justa little faster.If the 1 you are looking at is clean with a good price buy it , you won't be disappointed.
