Default '83 Honda 200X 3Wheeler

I have an '83 Honda 200X 3Wheeler that hasn't been used in YEARS, it was my Father's (who bought it new in '83) and is now mine....I was told it needs new rings, it has already been bored once. Where should I start this project? obviously the motor has to come out but any pointers would be appreciated!

I remember this 3wheeler growing up and it was a pretty bada$$ then, would like to return it to its former glory!

Who recommended it needed rings? Is it smoking or bad compression? If it's loss of power or bard starting it could be a nasty carb. If they sit with gas in them long at all they get pretty funky. What is going on with it?

Pretty sure is has low compression....it's actually still sitting in my fathers garage so I haven't had much time to tinker with it. He is who told me it needed rings, I believe there is not much resistance when you kick it over.

It probably hasn't even been started in 12 years or so....so ive got a road ahead of me to get her back to where it was...just not sure hwere to start....getting it to my house and room in the garage to work on it would be step 1 I suppose

May check compression if below 100 pounds inspect value clearance....An tight value will make low compression an hard to start...
