have a 1996 explorer 300 , starter worked before i put in a new battery now it does nothing, no click or wheerrr absolutly nada. one pull with the rope it starts, HELP

 

Double check the connections on the battery,solenoid and starter. Jump the two posts on the solenoid and see if the starter turns over. If it doesn't could be the starter bendix is a in a bind or the solenoid may be bad. The small wire on the solenoid has to have 12 volts from the ignition switch also.
