Yes gentlemen, I have the first available pic of Polaris' prototype for their future high performance atv.

if that is really the new high-performance quad, it looks awsome.

i dont know how anyone knows its a Polaris, it looks like it could be a idea by a designer that designed it on C.A.D.

also why does a french magizine have a pic from a american company???

is polaris testing this machine in france??
maybee thats the only way they can test it and not have anybody know about it.

im sure the engine would be the new 785cc twin that we saw in the new sled.

hope it comes out soon, thoes raptor and ds650 riders better watch out.

I THINK I have found a way to get a better focus. Hang on...the pic should belooking a bit better...within 10 minutes.
When I'm done with the pic, I'll post what they say about it.

ledebuhr, You're right, it's a CAD design, but it says Polaris on the seat, and there's a short article about it.

 

It says Polaris on the seat. Looks like a concept quad...resembles the Canondale a bit. The magazine is usually right in what it says according to my sources. If Polaris pulls this one off...I am sticking with them!

why an american quad in a french mag?
I don't know, but in France (maybe in Europe), the mags like to show projects at very very early stages. I had always seen it in car mags. They show you a design of a car that would be shown to th public like 2 years before. It's not exactly what will be the actual design, but gives a idea. I don't know where they got their low sidewall tires info...but that kicks butts!
I think I should expect to see the "evolution" of the design (as the journalists see it through rumors, people "inthe thing"...etc).
BTW. They say at least 4 times it's a very early
stage design in the 10 lines article.

 

Looks like they modeled it off a crotch-rocket. That's what it'll probably be like to, a rocket. Do any of you guys remember back in the summer when the connection had a news thing on the polaris prototype? It had one pic that just showed a frame.

 

if its done on CAD, how do we know its not done by a high school student that is just a polaris fan and is dreaming in class instead of working???

isnt the engineereing facilities for this quad up in Roseau MN?? that french magizine must have some very good spys up in roseau.

i hope they build that quad though it looks awsome.

The picture is a bit fuzzy because Zorro couldn't scan it but it is definately not just a computerized drawing. In the magazine you can specificaly see a real quad with 3 pictures of the prototype quad in the background on a wall. Seems like it's in a desighn lab or something.

I just wish we could post a better picture... working on it.
