Default Hensim 2007 150 cc Quad GY6

Need some help! Just bought this quad and reverse works fine but forward grinds and pops out of gear and dont know where to start. Cant find a shop that will work on a chinese quad and hope someone can give me some advise on how to fix myself or a shop in the PA / NJ/ DE area I can take it for service?

Thanks
Vincent

these transmission ain't hard to fix. it almost sounds like someone has been forcing it in to forward while the RPMs are up. did you buy it used or new? i'm presuming used. look at my album and you can see the inside of an Eton CVT/Automatic transmission. then you can decide if you want to tackle it yourself or have it done. let me ask you this, when the quad is dead, put it in forward and push it around. does it jump or grind then? does it feel like gear teeth are stripped? how fast are your idling RPMs?

Turns out the shifter / linkage was in need of adjustment. Thank you for your help.
