Default Xplorer 250 rear axle removal

I finally got the quad running good, took it out for a spin and the rear axle went kablooey. I need to get it out so I can replace all the bearings and seals.
I have it mostly apart, but how do I get the aluminum sleeve off, then the jam nut? I got the one off the left side by hammering on the brake disk with a rubber mallet. I have no way to do that on the right side.
What size is the jam nut other than huge?
Is everything right hand thread?
Is there anything else I ned to know before I tear anything up?
Do I just need to buy a bearing kit or is there something else I need to replace while I’m in there?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Retaining ring has to come off as it locks the sleeve in. Most times you can drive the sleeve down far enough to get the ring off the shaft, then the sleeve, then the nut.Been tooooo long on remembering nut size as I had a 3' long socket bar made that I used on the nuts with an impact. Do believe they were reverse threads.Pipe wrench is not the best but will help if you don't have anything else. Plus a lot of times penetrating oil and heat are needed to remove these stubborn nuts.. http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com/f...2000&fveh=5494
