Default 00 TB325 oil filter..kinda..

so i snapped an oil fitting off yesterday(#2) and im trying to get the rest of the broke off threads out...a big problem is i cant get tools into the area very easily...so im wondering, if i take the nut off(#1)..will that whole oil filter housing(#3) separate from the case(#4)?? or is it part of the case too??

You just need to invest in some deep metric sockets(or at least the one for this fitting) as it helps holds this assembly together.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

Try not to mangle this part!! Just get the broken oil line fitting out. A lot of places no longer carry it (3086402) and the only one I found so far including Ebay is at Partszilla. A little over $88.. A $13 fitting is considerably cheaper!
