Default flywheel questions

I have a 99 sportsman 500 and the magnets fell off the flywheel. I have been searching for used ff97 flywheels, I see several ff95s. Some have 6 magnets some have 4 like the ff97s and look identical. Will the ff95 with 4 magnets work in place of the the ff97 with 4 magnets ?

I've seen this before on this and other forums and have seen different answers? I've never swapped out one myself as these flywheels usually tear up stators and when they do and I replaced the stators and also the updated flywheel with the enclosed magnets. I know it isn't cheap and I understand why you want one. $328 at Cycle Parts Warehouse for the updated one! Hopefully someone that 's done this will come along and tell you either yes or no about this. I've heard both and I really don't know.
