Come on guys, someone tell him (so I know too what to do!!)
Mine does the same thing. It was rattling against the case, so I rotated it one tooth. It doesn't touch the side case anymore, but still rattles.
People say to clean thouroughly <sp? inside (the little spring/ball...etc, I've done it, but didn't change anything. I'll probably go with plastic washers. Should make a difference.
If you have 100 bucks left, go with an aluminium aftermarket.

You are missing the O-ring. It wears out and eventually falls out. You can replace just the O-ring for a few cents or buy the kit from Cascade which includes a new screw, spring, ball and O-ring.

Go to the hardware store and get a thin teflon washer (plastic). It lasts a good long time.
You can try to stretch the spring before putting it all back together. But if there is any rust on the ball, It gets hard to swing the kick out and in. Mine stuck in the out position before I tried the washer.

The lever will get stuck because you are getting dirt in there. The O-ring will prevent this. I keep mine clean by using WD-40.

Try putting a piece of rubber tube around the bottom of it.

I sold my Banshee before I had a chance to try this but I had planned to drill a hole in the top of the kicker knuckle and install a grease fitting. That would keep it from wearing out and getting sloppy. It would also make the o-ring last longer.
