I'd sure appreciate some help.

I have a Vbike V3E 150.

It idles fine. It revs fine. (Although I'm sure some carb tuning would help.)

But, when I shift it into Drive or Reverse, the engine stalls.

If I rev it up a little bit and quickly shift it into gear while keeping the RPM up (besides the grind and jump) it will continue to run and I can drive it around.

The other symptom is that it sometimes (somewhat frequently) is extremely difficult to shift into an out of gear (Drive or Reverse). I have to use considerable force to do so. I've looked at the shift lever and it looks fine to me.

I don't know the make of the engine -- perhaps someone knows what Vbike put in their V3E models?

My 11 year old daughter is bummed that Spring is here and she can't ride (and her middle aged daddy can't fix it!).
