Default Considering a 2007 SP 500 EFI

I'm thinking about buying one of these. If I recall, the EFI came out in 2006? I know better than to buy a first model year for any major change but how are the 2007's? Am I better off waiting for an '08 or newer to become available?

I have an 07 with over 2k on it so far and had no problems other than the dreaded tbap wiring issue. I put the better replacement harness that's in the sticky above and runs great. (sticky is in the ask an expert section)To my knowledge the 08 had no change from the 07.

Past the 2008 models you didn't have a recoil starter, just a blank cover. Cheap move on Polaris's part cutting corners like this. I had several people order complete recoil assemblies when they bought a new 500.

Was the line Polaris gave about warranty claims from water damage inside the recoil BS?

EBS should of never been removed either!!
