only one frt. wheel pulls on a 93 350 4x4?

Check the shear pin in the hub. If that's not it, it is probably electrical. The wires to the wheels are real tiny, but are protected a little. My dad has a '94 400L and he had both the shear pin and the electrical problems, so that is my experiences.

The shear pin is in tact and he did buy me a new plate,but when he first brought it to me it had no fluid,shavings and it looked like it engaged with out oil in it,I did clean it out checked everything and put it back together and still dont work.How do you check the electrical parts of it?Thanks.

While you have it apart, turn the 4WD switch on and put the armature plate up against the metal seal on the strut housing. If it won't stick against the seal, or it pulls off easy, your magnetic coil is at fault. It should be very hard to pull off when the coil is working right. If it is the coil, you now have to determine if the coil is bad, or if the electrical connection is bad. Trace the wires up to the white conector and unplug it. You can then use a 12V tester to make sure you are getting power at the connector. If you are, you will need to then test down in the area where the wires connect to the coil. You will have to take all the silicone out of the strut to free up the wires. Test as close to the seal as possible. If you are getting power to that point, you probably have a bad coil and will have to replace the coil and seal.
