Default Rear Drive spline both sides seem to be worn badly.

Why I say both is because I have turf mode so each side has a drive correct? How I noticed this was when looking at top of the axels at the CV cup that goes into the transmission there was a lot of flopping around unlike anything I had ever noticed. I took it apart and the axels pulled out of the Trans with no problems. Little rust but not bad. All CV joints feel tight and boots are good without signs of leakage. BUT???? The teeth on the axels and inside the Trans spline seem much worn. I never seen this kind of ware on any of the Polaris I have owned. Is this something to do with the Turf mode?

Not normal on the internal trans splines to wear down as much as the plunging joint splines as they are harder than the splines on the plunging joints, but noticed in your description you have a lift kit. This in itself can put pressure the rear drive shaft at an extreme angle if you have the rear lifted also. Most lift kits,Hi lifter, etc do have warning that suspension component wear will be greater with their kits ,but usually the joints themselves take the brunt of the wear not the gear case. Could be just the pressure on the plunging joints from the higher angle causing wear not only on the splines of the plunging joint, but on the internal splines as well? At the shop we never really had problems on the turf mode on excessive shaft wear, just an occasional solenoid problem, but most that we encountered didn't have lift kits either that I can remember.

Thanks OPT... was thinking the same. looks like a rip down. Big Job? I'm also having a hard time finding the replacment part numbers for in the trans splines.
