Default trailblazer 250 wont start

last year i rebuilt the whole engine. crank bearings, seals, cylinder bored, new piston rings, carb kit, battery and starter. ran fine all last year. get it out this summer and it wont fire. checked compression and its at 140 psi. checked spark and the plug is firing. thought maybe bad fuel so i drained the tank and carb and put fresh fuel in it. still no fire. tried some ether in the cylinder still no pop. so now i was thinking timming. so i pulled the flywheel and startor marks are lined up and the flywheel didnt spin on the crank. at a loss now what to check. its my daughters machine so shes dying to get it going again but i dont know what else to check? any thoiughts

If you stored it with out any stabilizer, sometimes even if you did, gas could have accumulated in the crank case and damaged the seals during the down time. If it won't even pop with starting fluid, but compression is still good,I'd check the seal behind the front clutch in case it popped out or leaking badly. This is usually the one that gives the most trouble.
