2005 Phoenix need help!
#1
My Phoenix has the rear gear drive chipped and I've stripped it down as far as I can go without some special tools and what I need to buy to replace it and get it back up. I need an owner's manual (bought it used) I'm also very poor
so I have to do what I can on my own. Can any of you wonderful folks out there help me? I'm desperate! I use it everyday and it's been "ailing" for over a week now and I'm trying to do all I can by myself. I just ride it for my personal pleasure, plus exercising my twin German Shepherds. I ride it in the woods and use it pretty hard. HELP ME...

If you're talking about the ring and pinion gear teeth chipped,it can get expensive. You have to replace both, about #350. #31 and #42.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse Normally this doesn't happen if the rear end differential fluid is changed once a year or so. Might be hard to find a Phoenix rear diff at a salvage yard.. Can't find a free pdf manual, but here's one for 5 bucks. http://polaris-atv.brssm.com/2005-Po...ce-Manual.html
