The 350 Rancher I ride with could barley keep up with my 350 Grizzly which hits the high 40s at most.

My 500 which hits almost 60 mph but not quite can smoke a newer 420 28hp Rancher.I ride with one of those also.
65mph 350 OHV 23hp Rancher ? As long as the laws of physicist do not apply I quess it may be so.

A 40hp Outlander 500 twin would be lucky to hit 65.

A Honda's flagship Big Bore 680 Rincon can't hit much more then over 60 so how's is the small bore 350 Rancher going to?

Yes, the Yamaha 350 Wolverine is geared a lot taller then the 350 Rancher. The wolverine 350 is a 55 mph ATV while the 350 Rancher will never see over 45 at most.
Also the Wolverine is lighter then a Rancher.

I,d ask the sport ATV guys with 350 Warriors or Raptors since your ATV has the same 348cc motor.

honestly the next good mod would be to change the piston its not hard to change or any more expensive then a hotcam , a high comp standard bore high comp piston kit is like 110 and gaskets are around 30 for everything. is there any reason in particular you don't want to change it?

a piston kit wont change anything on my quad like mess up the engine in the future? or make me have to run anything through it ? or will it just be like the stock engine except for power?

if you replace your piston and gaskets it will do nothing to the life of it, actually it will extend the life and all you have to do is get the cylinders honed for 15 dollars or you can bore it for 50 dollars and get more ccs you can go from a 348 up to a 366 on stock cylinders and stroke. the std bore with more compression is the safest though and if you don't go past 12:1 compression no race gas anything 11:1 and up premium is recommended but the wisco is 10.25:1 and 87 can still be used but higher octane is recommended. and no a big bore and piston kit are different . a piston kit is the piston, rings, and piston c clips. the big bore kit which is around 300 dollars is the piston kit with a new cylinder and gaskets with most companies, but je sells a kit which is the piston kit and gaskets and valve seals and they call it a big bore kit, some other companies might do the same, but generally they include a new cylinder or sleeve but if its a sleeve it cost quite a bit to get it resleeved.
