Default Yamaha raptor 350 tires and shocks

I have a 05 Raptor 350, I want to change my rear tires to a 19 or 18 right now they are 20. Would I be able to do that? Also I was wonderingif I could put 450r shocks on my atv? since the 350 shocks are stiff.

Yes, you can put 18" or 19" tires on it. You will lose about 1/2" of ground clearance with every inch smaller tire you run though. To keep the handling the same it is wise to drop the same number of inches on the front tires as well. For general trail use, the shorter tires aren't worth it in my opinion.

450R shocks are doubtful to work. Even if the shock mounts up to the frame and arms OK, they have a much longer eye to eye length than the stock 350 shocks. The front end would ride pretty high. I wouldn't be surprised if the shocks were even stiffer, given the lower leverage ratio of your much shorter a-arms. I like the Works Steelers for a good bang per buck shock that will easily outperform your stockers. There are other makes that may work well as well depending on budget.

The 18"s or 19"s will work but will change the "gearing" by making making the engine rev out faster, get to top speed faster, and lose some top speed altogether. If you don't want it to be like that you will need to change the sprockets with either a larger front or smaller rear sprocket.

I don't think 450 shocks will work as a direct bolt-on, the fronts are too long and the rear bolts up differently. You can make anything fit with a welder and a big hammer.
