I found this post on another website... thought you guys may be interested.

Just read an article on the new 550 bearcat the specs are as follows.
It's a 550 dual overhead cam 4 valves per head EFI twin cylinder engine, and it produces 45hp only a few suspension changes it has ryde fx shocks all around and 10.2 inches of clearance, revised automatic wide ratio clutches thats all I know right now but EFI in quads has arrived.
The Article was in full power 4 stroke magazine.

Did you read this on the web? if so, what is the address to that site. Sounds interesting fellas, but they sure have kept this quiet. Wonder why?

This is the only info on the other site at this time. I know that ATV Connection prefers that we not post links to other similar sites so I will not post it here. As I learn more, I will post. I will try to get a copy of the article.

Are you talking about ATV's or snowmobiles? I just checked the Arctic Cat web page all they show for a 550 bearcat is a 2002 snowmobile. Is this what you are talking about? it is not EFI the specs show twin 38mm carbs. This is not an ATV but rather a snowmobile. hopefully someday that same technology will be stuffed into an ATV.
If you are talking about an ATV then I would really be interested in the web page that you are getting your information from. send me an email at ttaylor@klune.com.

Waco4whlr,

Do you still want to go camping with texascat and I on April 20-21? How about Idaho in October around the 17th or so? Give me a ring. I'm working on the plans!

Dale1,
I just copied/pasted these remarks from another website. I have not seen the article myself. Once you have reviewed the article in this magazine, feel free to post your BS remark and I will remove the post for you.

BTW, are all Canadians as hostile as you??? LOL

Oh, if this is about a Snow Mobile, then why is ground Clearance mentioned. I have never owned a snowmobile or even seen one so I am not sure if this is even an issue with snow mobiles.

heck ya! I didn't know that you guys had finally picked a date. Let me know where, what time and all that good stuff so I can try to make final plans. That would be a great time to talk about Idaho. Give me a buzz, i'll send you my phone number.
