Hi everybody! Ok so I have recently picked up a 400ex off Craigslist for $1700. It was in good cond. and ran awesome (has a bore kit in it) however the frame was a bit rusty so I have decided to rebuild it. I've made much progress so far but right now I am stumped. There's this bolt that goes through the swing arm which does NOT want to move. It may be rusted or there might be dirt in the bushings it goes through. I would post pics now but I am a fairly new member so im not allowed to post pics ATM. Just wanted to share with you guys!

The swing arm pivot bolt on the ex's are a PIA. Most will not come out and have to be cut out.

 

Yes, mine had to be cut out, and removed when the lower end case was split, good luck!!
