Default Pheonix woes?

Hey I recently bought 2 pheonix quads I love em!!! But, theres always a but my son whacked a tree and crushed the front bumper we replaced that but ever since the quad makes a ratcheting going into forward, it doesn't do it all the time and it doesn't jump out of gear once in, I tried adjusting the forward cable but it doesn't seem to help? Any ideas?

The Phoenix and Sawtooth were bad about forward gear clash even if they haven't been wrecked. Doesn't help trying to adjust the linkage. At an idle the gears sometimes won't engage and grind and jerk in gear. Takes a little practice, but the easiest way I found to shift one was to blip the throttle and as it came back down close to an idle, shift into forward or reverse.Usually you will have a positive engagement. They had a couple updates on the shifter detent ball and spring, but it didn't solve the problem. My opinion is that it was just the straight cut transmission gears not engaging all the way.

Thank you very much I have watched a few vids and was thinking all kinds of kooky stuff, I don't think the fork is bent because it does not do it all the time only now and then. I didn't want to over adjust it either and I did find a lil bit of swamp water in the clutches as well man that stuff stinks, not enough to cause slippage though.
