To whom ever parked a red Dodge Ram 4x4 with a green polaris in the back the outer edge of walmart.

I was on my way to my f150 parked about 100 yards from your rig.I ran into a couple I knew that had bought a porch swing andhelped them load it into their truck and tie it down.

While doing this I noticed a mid -80s ford truck , light yellow with two guys in it circling the parking lot, slowing down each time they went by your truck.
I pointed them out to my friends, my friend commemted somebodys gonna lose their quad, the yellow truck stopped just past the rear of your truck, and started to back up towards the rear of your truck. I pushed the panic button on my truck remote, (causing the horn to honk and the lights to flash) and the yellow truck pealed off.We laughed and I called walmart to report car prowlers in the parking lot.
In april 1998, i broke 2 ribs in a creekbed, 2 Polaris riders I never met, or got to thank, guarded my honda 3004trax in my truck in the parking lot of Truman Med center till I returned from the ER.

Glad I got to square that bill.

Did you hand around long enough to warn the owners about it?

These guys could have just gotten PO'd and more determined and either followed these people home or made it a point to case them for a later hit?

Either way good job, just to bad concealed carry isn't permitted in MO, I believe in TX you are allowed to protect cetain property with deadly force if need be. Then again, someday if they keep that crap up they will get what is coming to em

Deadly force to protect property IS NOT legal in Missouri. Before I left the parking lot, there were police on scene, I gave them a descripition of the bad guys.Missouri does allow concealed carry to registered private Investigators , I must qualify yearly at the Kansas City Mo Police range.

One night around 2yrs ago I was sitting outside on my roof smoking a butt, it was around midnight, so Im sitting there and I see these 3 kids (mabe 13-15yrs old) sneaking around peoples houses and stuff, I diddnt make any noise, nobody could see me up there, so these kids look around to see if anybody is awake then open up my neibors car door and start to get in!, meanwhile Im just sitting there watching everything they do, right when they started to enter the car I yelled at the top of my lungs "HEY, get the f*** out of my CAR!!" You'd think they saw a ghost or something, they probally s#it their pants, like the flash they were gone never to come back. You should have seen them run!lol! Anyways I thought it was funny, I can still see the look on their faces..

theres nothing that bothers me more than thieves and irresponsible riders.I have had to work very very hard for my kdx 220 and soon to be Banshee and show and prove my responsibility to my folks and if i caught some 1 stealing it I'd kill them or kick the sh*t out of them.My mom always said thats the lowest and saddest day of a mans life when he resorts to stealing especially if they have money. Her philosify was if ya dont have the money for it ya just cant have it until ya have or get the money but ya dont steal it.I relize no 1 is really innocent but stealing some 1s quad/truck is low.thank god some people are still honest.its too bad ya didnt get his license before ya hit the alarm or if ya knew the make and model of truck color and maybe year.Police have a data base of every color make and model car and truck, they could technically put it in,especially a yellow truck because how many people actually have a yella car or truck? It always bothered my folks especially my mom when people shoplifted and stole, and then being released immedialtey on there own recognisance. She said they should bring the stocks back and when little or big johhny steals put them in the stocks for a few days and let every 1 see there face and and be made to see there shame. She also said when a kids steals they should put there parents names and faces in the stores and newspapers and maybe some action would get taken by the parents to stop 5 fingered johnny.Cause some of these people steal and steal and steal and are real menances of society.

I have been to Wal-Mart or the grocery store on my way out of town before and had to leave the truck/trailer unattended for a few minutes. It only takes a few seconds, though, for some thug to steal your stuff. A post a few months back about a guy who got his quad stolen from inside his locked garage made me start locking mine together while in my garage. Now, I will probably lock my bikes to the truck or trailer while en route.

Here is a quick tip for guys that put the quad in the back of pickups. If your tailgate does not have a lock on it, you can buy one through ceretain dealers.
Also, you can put a padlock assemble on the inside of the gate as well. Although it might not totaly stop everyone, chances are this will usually stop those looking to steel your quad while you run into the store for something.

I will put a BIG thick iron/titanium/berylium/carbon/kevlar "U", and lock the frame to it with the toughest chain available (I already have it, my dad used it for his Vmax bike)

Not trying to be a smart a$$ here But i had a sled stolen once and it was found By the police. Lets just say Don,tever take it back from the ins company you do not know what the thieves did to it. Plus It is no big deal to Loose the Atv Thats why You buy insurance. And hell it is alot cheaper to pay a deductable on a claim then to fit the whole bill, also you get a new Ride.
